PERSONAL BEST is Hiring a Residential Supervisor Near Denver, CO

My client, a leading care provider for adults with disabilities and learning and development impairments is urgently seeking an experienced, caring and professional residential supervisor to join their team.

The focus of the role will be to work with clients to provide residential in-home support supervision as well as Social community connection supervision, along with ensuring medications are correct, in -stock and provided to clients as needed. Working with a team of caregivers under your supervision, you will ensure the highest possible quality of care is provided to our current case-load and new case-loads going forward.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of caregiving experience with at least a year of supervisory experience, previous experience working with adults with disabilities and learning development issues will be a huge advantage.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a caregiving role
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a supervisor or manager within a healthcare role
  • Previous experience working with people who are disabled or have developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong time management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to identify and manage existing and new behaviours
  • QMAP certification is a huge advantage, or willingness to obtain this within 6 months of starting within the role.
  • Previous experience with MRB boxes, MARs and medication audits is essential.
  • Knowledge of care and goal planning, step by step improvement planning and planning for social and activity goals is essential.
  • Able to manage a small team of 4 care givers and work closely with program directors.

Duties & Role:

  • Work closely alongside caregivers to ascertain client needs and make appropriate plans for their care, including their social, emotional, work and education goals.
  • Assist clients with accessing resources such as food vouchers, laundry vouchers, internet and phone vouchers and travel cards.
  • Manage clients medication, including obtaining prescriptions and ensuring medication is delivered on time, stored correctly, with the correct amount of medication available for the required time frame.
  • Work closely with the program director to manage new referrals and complete intake meetings for high profile clients.
  • Manage schedules of care givers ensuring adequate coverage and rotation.
  • Provide care-giving cover when required, taking care of a small case-load of clients
  • Oversee and manage the training and certification of team members.
  • Provide leadership, training and assistance to internal team members.
  • Use THERAP and various other systems such as PEAKE to manage client appointments, experiences and other needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
